Shark viewing in South Africa
False Bay is unique for its jumping great whites. We have years of experience in shark viewing and we were the first to ever document the famous flying great whites.
These sharks are called “flying great whites” due to their ability to breach out of the water when hunting seals.
This behaviour can be seen nowhere else in the world on such a regular basis. We ensure the most up close shark viewing experience and we also offer shark cage diving and shark snorkelling.
Trips
African Shark Eco Charters have trips throughout the year. One day shark trips are arranged fairly informally and longer safaris (10 days) can be arranged on demand.
Perfect weather
All our trips run both in winter and summer. The weather in winter is more likely to be suitable for Great White Shark watching due to the fact that cooler water temperatures keep the sharks concentrated around food sources.
We can arrange:
- self catering accommodation breakfasts and suppers
- Packed lunches for trips at sea
- Airport transfers
- Diving trips
- Air cylinder refill
- Diving equipment
- A visit to the wine lands
Feel free to contact us for any additional information or pricing.
