The competition is in conjunction with the Discovery channel who wants to celebrate Shark Weeks 20th anniversary. To celebrate this milestone, Discovery Channel delves even deeper into the world of the ocean’s most mysterious and deadly predators.

Programme Synopsis

As part of Shark Week, one-off drama documentary Worst Shark Attack Ever: Ocean of Fear (Monday 20th August, 9.00pm) tells the story of the 900 men who were left floating in shark-infested waters. Other highlights include Perfect Predators (Sunday 19th August, 5.00pm) which tracks and observes sharks in their hunting grounds. In Dirty Jobs: Jobs That Bite… Harder (Friday 24th August, 9.00pm), Mike Rowe helps make a shark suit to protect him in a real life shark attack as he dives into the shark infested waters off the coast of the Bahamas. With chilling first hand accounts, Shark Attack Survivors (Thursday 23rd August, 9.00pm) explores the mysteries behind sharks attacks on humans.

The Prize

10 day holiday to South Africa for two adults, including boat trips to view Great White sharks and diving with blue sharks. The expeditions run on a 36ft catamaran, which will take place near Seal Island; this area is famous for the legend of "The Submarine" - the notorious white shark in excess of 6 meters that roamed False Bay.
