One day shark trip

You will have an unforgettable experience when you come and spend the day with the Great White Sharks of False Bay. Our one day shark trips are centered around shark breaching, shark predation and shark cage diving.

Our high season for great white sharks is from April to the middle of September (with June, July and August being the best three months).

We leave from Simonstown, which is only 40 minutes from Cape Town. The trip starts at 7am sharp and returns at 12h30/13h00 weather depending.

Included in the price is the use of dive gear, as well as a light lunch and refreshments. The price is the same for shark diving and surface viewing.

Being situated in Simonstown means that you will not only see the great white sharks, but you will also be able to visit the penguins and even Cape Point Nature reserve all in one day.

The area we work is Seal Island False Bay. This area is home to the great white sharks and various other marine animals. The island is also home to 64000 cape fur seals and during the trip we get to see whales and dolphins on route to and from the island on a regular basis.

We are at present one of two active operators in the area so this allows us to observer these magnificent predators in a very natural state.

Cost for a one day trip with the great whites

The cost is R1500 plus 14% VAT = R1710 per person p/day (Approximately $215.00 US)

Our company is very different from other shark cage diving companies, as we do not cater for a large number of people. We focus on smaller groups (a maximum of 12 people) to ensure that everyone has a personal experience with the great white sharks.
