TANDEM PARAGLIDING in Cape Town

Paragliding is a form of flight using only the air flow of the wind and an aerodynamically shaped Paraglider. Wind blowing into the canopy inflates it making flight effortless.

Tandem flights involve you being securely strapped into a comfortable flying harness positioned in front of the pilot. Tandem flights are flown by a SAHPA (South African Hang and Paragliding Association) approved (TFI) Tandem Flight Instructor Pilots.

As a paraglider can fly very slowly it is easy to launch and land so all you will need to do during the launch and landing is run briefly.

Flight is weather depended, and as our paragliders are non-motorized, flight duration is determined by wind conditions. The whole experience from arrival at the flying site, to landing is roughly 1:30min, although actual flight time may be between, 10-25 minutes.

What to bring with on the day?

• Running / Walking shoes (Slip-ons, or Sandals are Not Permitted)
• Warm jacket / jumper
• Sun-hat
• Sun-block
• Drinking Water
• Camera
• Cash or Outstanding Balance

Transportation: On request, subject to availability.

In Flight Photography: We offer in-flight pictures which includes the client and scenery, using a professional wide angle camera, at R200 additional.
