The day before your trip
The following information will ensure you maximize enjoyment of your trip
As the trip is weather dependant, it is very important that you contact us the day before the trip (before 2 pm) to check that your trip will be departing as planned.
The office hours are from 9am to 5pm. Tamsyn: +27(0)82 838 2309 or Karen +27(0)82 838 2309.
NB: Please be at the Simon’s Town Pier by 06.30am. The boat leaves at 7 am sharp. Unfortunately we cannot refund guests who are left behind.
If you are self driving, please make sure you allow yourself enough time to get to the Simon’s Town pier by 6.30am. Blue Water Predator Trips leave at 6.30am, so please be at the Pier by 6.20am. Also ensure you have directions to get you to the point of departure so that you are not disappointed.
The afternoon trip leaves at 13.15. Guests are to meet at the bookings office before 13.00. Payment for the afternoon trip is to be made before the trip. The address is W13, Simon's Town Board Walk, Quayside Building, Simon's Town.
Transfers
Guests will be collected from their hotel at 5.45am for a Great White Shark trip, and at 5.30 am for a Blue Water Shark Trip. Please double check that you have given us the correct hotel details for your collection. If you are booked under a different name from your booking form, please inform us.
Payments
All payments are to be made in the bookings office after the trip. One of our crew will gladly escort you to the office if you do not know where it is.
What to bring?
Warm wet weather jacket, sunglasses, peak cap, fleece beanie, towel, bathing costume, sun block, camera (we do stock disposable underwater cameras). Sea Sick tablets if necessary. We recommend “Sturgeron or Dramamine” tablets. For your own enjoyment of the trip, we recommend that you do not over indulge in alcohol the night before as this may result in you being very sea sick the next day.
We look forward to meeting you and showing you the world’s greatest predators.
Warm Regards,
Rob and Karen Lawrence
