Shark diaries: November 2008

Dear Ultimate Animal friend,

There is growing concern in the local and international community regarding the killing of sharks as a means of bather protection. This method has been used for decades at certain bathing beaches, however it is becoming increasingly unacceptable to slaughter wild animals without strong justification.

Rob and I are against killing sharks (and any animal). We would please like you to sign a petition on the Shark Life website in support of stopping this senseless culling of sharks. Not only do sharks get killed but other marine animals, all for the sake of “bather protection”.
