Afternoon Shark Trip

During the Afternoon trip you will see sharks from a point blank range. This trip revolves around shark cage diving.

One day Shark Trip

The one day shark trip gives you 6 hours of shark viewing and shark cage diving. During this trip you will be able to see the sharks breaching and the natural predation that happens out at sea. This is the most popular trip!

Ten day Shark Trip

Want an extended shark trip? Our 10 day expeditions run twice a month starting on the first of May, June, July, August and September.

Blue Water Predators trip

The blue waters predators trips depart at 06h00 and return at 16h00. This trip is for the naturalist that wants to see a multitude of wildlife such as Skuas, Terns, SHearwaters, petrels and penguins.

Blue Water Summer Package

Our peak season for great white sharks is from April to Spetember and during this time we offer this unique package to see the magnificent creatures of the sea.

Simon's Town

The Simon's Town area is known for its long and interesting naval heritage, old buildings and museums but most of all the Boulders penguin colony. This is a must as the African Penguins (Still called Jackass penguins by main locals) are always around to be seen and will pose for photos. Simon's Town has many little coffee shops and seafood restaurants...it's the place where Capetonians go for their Sunday drive. Simon's Town is on the way to the Cape Point Nature Reserve with the pictures Light house at the point were two oceans meet.

Simon's Town is connected to Cape Town by train. The route, which boasts one of the very few reliable rail services in the greater Cape area, hugs the rocky coast for more than half the 45 minute trip to Cape Town city centre. Definitely a worthwhile outing. There are also a few excellent pubs nearby, the Brass Bell for example, is a venue right on the shore. The well known Victoria and Alfred Waterfront, Table Mountain, Robin Island and all of Cape Towns famous attractions are all within 45 minutes drive away.

Our one day shark trips are generally arranged fairly informally and we do trips on most clear days throughout the year. The longer safaris (10 days) can be arranged on demand, we will however have regular safaris starting on the first of the month, every month from on the first of April.

All our trips run both in winter and summer. The weather in winter is more likely to be suitable for Great White shark watching due to the shelter that the bay provides and the fact that colder water temperatures keep the sharks concentrated around food sources (Seal Island). This translates to a significantly better chance of finding large numbers of sharks in one spot.
