Great White Shark Trips and Tours
Blue Water Summer Package
Book for this shark trip today!
Our peak seasons for great white sharks are from April to September and after that the sightings are greatly reduced.
We do still take clients out during the low season but shark sighting can not be guaranteed. We do still get sightings and good diving days.
Our trips run from Simonstown, which is only 40 minutes from Cape Town. The trips leave at 07h00 and returns at about 14h30 weather depending, included in the price are use of regular dive gear as well as a light lunch and refreshments.
Seal Island False Bay is very famous for the great sharks breaching, “the flying sharks” and hunting behaviour which makes the trip very enjoyable for non divers and a large number of our guest are non-divers.
At this time of the year we are offering a unique package to experience the adventure of the Blue Water Expedition. This trip will take you out into the warm Agulhas current that is home to the pelagic predators such as the magnificent Mako and Blue Sharks. Large shoals of big yellow fin tuna (up to 100kg) and long fin tuna are seen and can sometimes circle the boat. Dozens of pelagic bird species are also seen (up to 6 species of Albatross). The visibility can be over 30m (100ft) and water temp can exceed 23`c. You can also try your hand at large Tuna fishing. We get to free dive with all these magnificent animals of the deep and is a great alternative and is what I would recommend at this time of the year.
